About Launch Local Web
One real person, not an agency
Launch Local Web is run by me, Patrick. Not a team, not a call centre, not an outsourced agency pretending to be local. When you get in touch, you deal with me directly — from the first message to the finished site and every update after.
I built Launch Local Web after seeing how many skilled NZ tradies were being let down online. Great work, honest businesses, but invisible on Google. Either they had no website, a Facebook page that couldn't be found in search, or an old site built years ago that no longer worked on phones.
I built Launch Local Web to fix that — properly, at a fair one-off price, with no ongoing monthly fees.
Why the free preview model
Most tradies I've spoken to have been burned by web agencies at some point. Paid deposits with nothing to show. Promises that never materialised. Monthly fees for a site that generated no leads.
I do the opposite. You tell me about your business, I build a real, working preview of your homepage — not a mock-up, an actual site. You see it, click through it, share it. If you love it, we go live. If you don't, you walk away without spending a cent.
It's slower for me than the traditional way of doing things. But it's honest, and it means the only tradies who pay me are the ones who genuinely got what they wanted.
How I work
I'm a one-person operation, so I keep things simple. I use modern development tools — including AI-assisted platforms like Lovable — to build faster and deliver more value at a lower cost than traditional agencies. But every site is reviewed, customised, and finished by me personally. Every enquiry gets a personal reply. Every client works directly with me.
I believe technology should make good work more accessible, not replace the real person behind it. That's why my sites cost less than agency work but include everything that matters — proper local SEO, custom design, and a real conversation with the person who built it.
Your success is my success
I'm not looking to churn out a hundred websites this year. I'm looking to build sites for NZ tradies who value doing things properly — and to be there when those tradies want to grow, expand, or update what we built. Small changes after launch are on me. Bigger jobs are quoted fairly. And I'm always contactable directly.
If that sounds like the kind of web designer you want to work with, get in touch. I'll build you a free preview and we'll take it from there.
