Do you work with businesses outside Auckland?

Yes. Launch Local Web is based in Auckland. Our projects can serve businesses throughout New Zealand. The site should reflect the places the business really serves. We do not add areas just to make the business look larger. Send the service area if it is unusual. We can confirm whether the project is a good fit.

Can you build for a business that is still being set up?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if the core business facts are clear enough to use. We need the real business name and services. We also need the service areas and a working contact route. You can add other approved details when they are ready. We do not invent jobs, reviews, licences, awards, or qualifications. If key facts are still changing, part of the build may need to wait.

Do we need to meet in person?

Accepted Answer

No. We can handle the website process remotely. You can send the business details online. You can also review the work and send feedback online. This works for businesses outside Auckland too. If a project needs another setup, we can agree on that before paid work starts.

Question 4

Can we ask questions before requesting a free preview?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use Contact Launch Local Web for a general website or service-fit question. You do not need to request a preview just to ask something. We can first point you to the right service. If you want to see a homepage direction, use the Free Website Preview.

What if we do not have a domain name yet?

Accepted Answer

We can start the project before you connect the final domain. Domain registration is separate unless the fixed quote says otherwise. We connect the domain after you approve the launch step. If you already have a domain, keep the account details available. Keep domain access ready for the launch connection.

Question 6

Who should keep control of the domain account?

Accepted Answer

Keep the domain under the business's control. A domain is a business asset. It should not depend on staying with one website provider. We may need domain access for launch. The business should still control the account after handover.

Question 7

Do we need to give you access to every business account?

Accepted Answer

No. Access should match the work we agree to do. We need domain access for launch. We only need Search Console, Analytics, or Business Profile access when those tasks are in scope. Keep unrelated accounts separate. The business should retain control of its own accounts after handover.

Question 8

Can we keep our current business email?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A website build does not require replacing a working business email account. Your current email can stay as the public contact address. Basic form enquiries can also go to the business inbox when that is in scope. Domain registration and professional email are separate from the standard website build. The fixed quote states any exception.

Question 9

What happens if our phone number or basic business details change?

Accepted Answer

Small wording, phone-number, or photo changes can fit the current small-change policy. Send the new details and we can review the request. A simple correction is different from adding a new page. We scope larger additions before work starts.

Question 10

What happens if we need a larger new feature later?

Accepted Answer

You can expand the finished site when new work makes sense. We quote new pages, articles, or larger features before adding them. Booking tools or e-commerce may also need a separate scope. Some integrations need specialist work. We confirm that before the extra work starts.

Question 11

Can we move the finished website to another provider?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The business should keep control of the finished website. It should also keep control of the domain and approved content. The site should not lock the business to one provider. A future move can still need technical work. The new provider can confirm the work for that move.

Question 12

What happens if the project needs work outside the standard website scope?

Accepted Answer

We keep the website quote limited to work we can support. Some projects need specialist e-commerce or complex integrations. Others may need paid advertising or legal advice. We do not silently add those needs to a standard website package. We state when you need a separate specialist or scope.
